Brooklyn Skyhawks Football

Marques McFarlin (Skyhawk '95) and his teammates will be playing their last game of the 2006 season. The game will be against Bowling Green University and will be televised on ESPN2. Game is scheduled for Tues., Nov. 21, 2006 at 7:00PM. Marques is currently listed as the No. 2 inside linbacker at the University of Toledo and also plays on special teams (mostly kickoff return). The Rockets are members of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). Marques is the oldest son of current Skyhawk coach Joe McFarlin of the Pee Wee team. Marques was a standout QB and tough defender during his Skyhawk career. After his Skyhawk playing days, Marques attending high school at Malverne (Long Island) where he played QB and LB. Marques was named All-County in football and track as a senior. He was also named to the All-Conference team in basketball. Marques has certainity grown since the early days as he is listed at 6'2" and 234lbs. Congratulations to Marques and his family and we wish you the best for your future Make us Proud!!!!!
