These former Skyhawks received All-Borough, All-City and/or All-State honors for their performance during the football season. We have also listed high school and/or college attended as well. Selection to the "All-City" and "All-Borough" teams were made by either the NY Daily News and/or New York Newsday. Selection to the "All-State" team was made by the New York State Sportswriters Association. 2006 Dyon Moore - 2nd team Star Ledger All-State (NJ)All Non-Public defense, 1st team Star Ledger All-Hudson County Defense End at Hudson Catholic Regional HS (Jersey City, NJ). Currently being recruited by Univ. of Akron, Stony Brook and Univ. of Albany. Lansford Watson - All-American, All-State and All City WR at Abraham Lincoln HS. Participating in the US Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 6, 2007. Lansford has verbally committed to attend University of Maryland in Fall 2007. 2005 Tyrell Escoffrey - 1st Team All-City Linebacker at Brooklyn Technical HS. Tyrell has an 85 avg. and scored over 1200 on his SAT's. Currently being recruited by Hofstra University. 2004 Neil Lewis - 1st team All-City and All-Brooklyn at Abraham Lincoln HS. Neil rushed for 1,372 yards, eight TD's and seven two-point conversions. 2003 Kojo Cottoy - All-City (2nd team) and All Brooklyn at Abraham Lincoln HS. Kojo led the PSAL in tackles with 106. He also contibuted with a fumble recovery, a sack and an interception. Niquaan Gaymon - All-Brooklyn at Abraham Lincoln HS. Niquaan (QB)finished second in the league in passing TDs with 17. He threw for 1,343 yards and ran for 243 yards while scoring 5 TDs on the ground. To make matters worse, he only a SOPHOMORE!!! Jerrell Smith - All-City (2nd team) and All-Queens at St. Francis Prep. Jerrell rushed for 1, 276 yards and 8 TDs. His rushing total was the 4th highest in CHSFL AAA Division. Jerrell accounted for 1,632 all-purpose yards. 2000 Leon Williams - All-American, All-State and All-City LB at Canarsie High School. Completed his career at the Univ. of Miami (Fla) Hurricanes; Currently a 4th round selection of the NFL Cleveland Browns. 1999 Lance Bennett - All-City, All-Brooklyn RB at Poly Prep Country Day School. Currently an artist signed with Will Smith Records; enrolled at Indiana University playing his senior season in 2006. Russell Jessamy - All-Brooklyn RB at Canarsie High School Allen Lyons - All-Brooklyn QB at New Utrecht High School. Currently attending Hofstra Univ. 1997 Cinque McKetty - All-City, All-Brooklyn LB at Poly Prep Country Day School. Attending Univ. of Delaware on scholarship; graduated from Fordham University in May, 2003. 1996 Terrance Gray - All-Queens QB/DB at Bayside High School. Graduate of Oregon State Univ. Robert Lavender - All-City, All-Brooklyn RB at John Jay High School Shawn Lundie - All-Brooklyn RB at James Madison High School Gary McGowan - All-Brooklyn QB at Canarsie High School Tarik Simpson - All-Brooklyn WR/DB at Canarsie High School. Garduate of Southeast Missouri State University. Reed (Jamal) Tunison - All-Brooklyn DB at Nazareth regional High School. 2002 Graduate of Bucknell University. 1994 Kwesi Daniels - All-State, All-City RB/LB at Sheepshead Bay HS. Graduated from Univ. of Cincinnati Bergre Escorbores - All-Queens WR at August Martin High School James Lavender - All-Brooklyn RB at John Jay High School Neville Thorne - All-Brooklyn RB/DB at Lafayette High School 1993 Gordon Tunison - All-Brooklyn RB/DB at Nazareth Regional High School Taji Randle - All-Brooklyn RB/DB at Thomas Jefferson High School. Attended Texas Southern Univ. Currently an Assistant Coach at Thomas Jefferson HS 1991 Owen Larman - All-State, All-City LB at Canarsie High School. Selected as Brooklyn Player of the Year Frantz Jourdain - All-State, Two(2)Time All-City RB/DB at Sheepshead Bay High School. Selected as Brooklyn Player of the Year as a Junior in 1990. Graduated from Univ. of Rhode Island. Currently a scout for the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots. 1990 Anthony Barnes - All-City, All-Brooklyn RB at Nazareth Regional HS. Kharon Brown - All-Brooklyn QB at James Madison HS.Accepted scholarship to Univ. of Kansas and later transferred to Hofstra Univ. Graduated as one of the better QB's in the program. Teart Jackson - All-City LB at Sheepshead Bay HS. Royston Jones - All-City LB at Abraham Lincoln HS accepted scholarship to Univ. of Wisconsin. Frantz Jourdain - All-City QB/DB at Sheepshead Bay HS. Became one of the most heavily recruited players in the City over the next two years. 1982 Anthony Long - All-Brooklyn at Samuel Tilden HS 1981 Clive Harding - All-City, All-Brooklyn at Abraham Lincoln High School.
