There have been a few former Skyhawk players who have moved in recent years and are excelling in High Schools throughout the country. Below is a list of players and their new locations: - Terrance Davis (Skyhawk '02) - QB/WR - Brookview H.S. (Atlanta, Ga) - Rahfee McClee (Skyhawk '05) - RB - Timberlake H.S. - (Orlando, Fl.) - Tyrique Williams (Skyhawk '05) - WR/FS - (Atlanta, Ga.)

Lansford Watson (Skyhawk '03)has been gaining quite a bit of attention in the preseason magazines. He has been mentioned in Street & Smith's College Yearbook, Athlon's eastern Football, etc. Lansford is a 6'4", 226lbs WR/TE for the Abraham Lincoln HS Railsplitters (Brooklyn, NY). During the 2005 season Lansford had 53 receptions for 851 yards. He scored 11 TDs. Lansford plays OLB on defense and recorded 2ints (1 returned for TD). Lansford is rated as one of the top WR's in the country.He has received scholarship offers from Univ. of Maryland, Univ. of Southern california, Univ. of Florida, Univ. of Pittsburgh, Univ. of North Carolina, Rutgers Univ., West Virginia Univ. and Penn State Univ. We want to wish Lansford the best for the upcoming season. MAKE US PROUD!!!!

Flyers are available at the field regarding purchasing of helmets. Price breakdown is as follows: Peanut and Jr. Pee-Wee Divisions - $55.00 Pee-Wee and Midget Divisions - $75.00 Intermediate Div. - $105.00 All costs include facemask which will be one of the "standard" models. Helmets will be sold on a FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE basis while supplies last. Payment (cash or money order) must be paid prior to ordering/sizing. Sizing for helmets will be done on Sat. and Sun. towards the end of practice. For more information please pick up a flyer at the field.

Special thanks to all the players, parents, relatives and friends who attended our 29th Anniversary Awards Ceremony on Fri. February 17, 2006. Extra Special thanks goes to former Skyhawk standout Frantzy Jourdain, area scout for the NFL's New England Patriots Football team. Frantzy was our guest speaker and told the audience of his experiences as a Skyhawk and his years at Sheepshead Bay HS and the University of Rhode Island. Frantzy is headed to Indiana to cover the NFL Combine for the Patriots In addition, Warner Football Conference trophies were issued to the SKYHAWK recipients. Reminder to all players/parents that the cheesecakes and cookie dough orders are scheduled to be delivered on Saturday, 11/19/05. Cheesecakes and cookie dough will be shipped frozen and prepackaged with the player's name on the box. Upon receipt please check your packages and notify Ms. Watson of any discrepancies by Wed. 11/23.
